Knoxville Chapter was organized 12 April 1954 by Mrs. James H. Burke.
- Knoxville chapter meets 4 times a year at Fox Den Country Club. Chapter opens with devotion, Pledge of the American Flag, the American Creed and Object of American Colonists.
- We support College of The Ozarks, attend Naturalizations service in Knoxville.
- Members contribute to Disabled American Veterans, USC, Wounded Warrior Project, Paralyzed Veterans, Atchley Veteran Home. Members attend Wreaths Across America. Chapter supports our police officer and fire department.
- Chapter presents ROTC Medals to local high schools.
- Members of the chapter volunteers: TN State Veterans Honor Guard, East Tennessee History Center (McClung Collections), and volunteer to do research for prospective members.
- Programs such as Barry Thacker on Welsh Coal Miner; May was a Show and Tell, March; “Ledford” The Heritage of the Cherokee People”, January; Paul James; Knoxville History Project”, “Jamestown Brides”
- Goals: Grow membership, grow our society, and service to our veterans.
